San Silvestro farmhouse lies
on a hill top, 485 m. above sea level, in the Chianti Classico area,
in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Siena.
Our farmhouse is an ideal location for
your holiday in Tuscany and for visiting famous
art cities such as Florence, Siena, Lucca, San
Giminiano, Volterra, Pisa as
well as the nearby country villages of the famous Chianti
Classico region: San Donato in Poggio, Castellina, Greve,
Barberino Val d’Elsa, Radda, Gaiole, Tavarnelle, San Casciano.
The Villa and the Old
Barn, restored respecting the original Tuscan
Style, are surrounded by splendid private gardens,
olive groves, vineyards, orchards and woods.
The apartments have independent
entrances and parking spaces, independent
heating and satellite television. A swimming pool,
a table tennis, mountain bikes, a barbecue are available to guests.
A holiday in our farm is a memorable experience: you will feel

Leonardo da Vinci and San Silvestro
| In 1495 the farm of San Silvestro was
given as dowry by Anton Maria Gherardini to
his daughter Lisa who married Francesco
Bartolomeo del Giocondo. Monna Lisa became
immortal in one of the most famous pictures in the
world: “la Gioconda” by
Leonardo da Vinci, now kept in the Louvre
Museum in Paris... |
